1. About us & the Service
JPOS (“the Service”) is a cloud-based, subscription (SaaS) point-of-sale, inventory and business-management software. It is owned and operated by Jantrah Tech Private Limited (Trading as JPOS) (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a private limited company incorporated in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan under the Companies Act, 2017 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
The Service is provided over the internet through the website jpos.jantrah.com. Nothing physical is shipped or delivered; the entire product is a digital service accessed through a web browser.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under the Contract Act, 1872 (Pakistan).
- The Service is intended for genuine business use by shops, stores, marts and similar businesses.
- You must provide accurate registration information (business name, email address, contact number, city) and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by staff users you create.
- Each business (tenant) account and its data are isolated from all other businesses using the Service.
4. Subscription & fees
- The Service is offered on a monthly subscription of Rs. 700 per month per business (Pakistani Rupees), with all features included.
- Your first month is free. No payment is required at sign-up and no card or wallet details are collected at sign-up.
- When a paid period ends, a grace period of approximately 10 days applies during which the Service continues to work and you are reminded to renew. If payment is not made by the end of the grace period, access is paused until payment is received. Your data is not deleted when access is paused.
- Prices are stated in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes (including sales tax where applicable). There are no additional taxes or hidden charges on top of the price shown at checkout.
- We may revise the subscription price with at least 30 days’ prior notice by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Payments
- Payments are accepted in PKR via Easypaisa mobile wallet transfer and bank transfer / IBFT to the Company’s designated accounts shown on the Payment Process page and inside the app on your Subscription page.
- Where we enable online card, wallet or account payments through licensed Pakistani payment service providers or gateways (such as PayFast, easypaisa or 1LINK member channels), those payments are processed by the respective provider under their own terms; we never see or store your card number, CVV or wallet PIN.
- After paying by transfer, you submit the payment proof (transaction ID / slip) inside the app. Your subscription is extended immediately on submission and our team then verifies the payment against our account records.
- If a submitted payment cannot be verified or is found to be false, the extension is reversed, access is paused, and repeated false submissions may lead to account termination.
6. Your data & ownership
- All business data you enter — products, sales, purchases, customers, suppliers, ledgers, expenses, payroll — remains your property.
- We act as a processor/custodian of that data solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We do not sell your data or share it with other businesses on the platform.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter, including compliance with any tax and record-keeping obligations that apply to your business under Pakistani law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law of Pakistan, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA);
- attempt to access another business’s data, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass its security or access controls;
- resell, sublicense, rent or lease the Service to third parties without our written agreement;
- upload malicious code, interfere with the Service’s operation, or place unreasonable load on it through automated means;
- impersonate any person or entity or submit false payment proofs.
8. Availability & support
- We aim to keep the Service available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, upgrades and events beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary interruption.
- We take regular operational backups of the platform; however, you should also export or record critical figures important to your business.
- Support is provided via the contact channels listed in section 13 during reasonable business hours (Pakistan Standard Time).
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding your business data), is the intellectual property of Jantrah Tech Private Limited (Trading as JPOS) and is protected under the Copyright Ordinance, 1962 and other applicable laws of Pakistan. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business while your subscription is active. No other rights are granted.
10. Suspension & termination
- By you: you may stop using the Service and cancel at any time — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- By us: we may suspend or terminate access for non-payment (after the grace period), breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or a risk to the security or integrity of the platform. Where practical we will notify you first.
- After termination for non-payment, your data is retained for a reasonable period so you can resume by paying, after which it may be permanently deleted following notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Pakistan:
- the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”;
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of business arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service;
- our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Governing law & changes to these Terms
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them, subject to any mandatory forum requirements of applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. For material changes we will give notice by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
